Marcus Wiechmann studies photojournalism and documentary photography at Hochschule
Hanover, Germany. In 2015 he spent two semesters abroad as an Erasmus+ scholar at
Bilgi University in Istanbul, Turkey. He attended an exchange semester at Pathshala
South Asian Media Institute in Dhaka, Bangladesh with a DAAD scholarship in 2017. Marcus is a
visual storyteller who likes to work with different visual approaches and mediums.
His long-term projects focus on social, humanitarian and environmental topics with a special
interest for issues in Europe and the Middle East.
Marcus is always interested to collaborate with writing journalists and is available for
editorial and corporate photo- or videography assignments.
